We have made it as simple as possible to share your song translations, because we want to grow this resource into something which is of great value to the church locally, nationally and internationally. For that to happen your contributions are vital. Before we explain how to share your songs, its important to understand a little about our philisophy and what will happen to the songs after you have shared them.

• We believe that worship songs are given by God for the church, and are therefore His.
• We believe that song translation is also a gift to be developed, nurtured and grown, and that these translations should be God inspired, and therefore His.
• We believe that modern copyright laws can be a hinderance to God’s purposes for his songs. The moment money stops God’s songs being sung, is the moment when God’s purposes are frustrated. Money is not our God.
• We believe that church politics and prejudices can be a hinderance to the progress of worship. That is why Sing It Loud.org is and will remain 100% independent of any denomination.

By posting your song translations, you agree that you are publishing your work under a Creative Commons Licence.

If you have already registered the song with a publishing company or other authority, you receive their permission to publish the song translation, and must do so in accordance with their demands.

STEP 3

Check to see if your song already exists by using the search. Its often a good idea to search by the song’s first line, rather than the title. If you’re sure its not there already, then skip to next step.
